Gaeltacht communities in a number of counties including Donegal will gather outside the offices of several institutions today which play a key role in housing.
Campaigners are expected to gather outside of local authorities - to call for immediate action to resolve the Gaeltacht housing crisis nationally.
They are calling for a number of action to be taken including the establishment a special Gaeltacht Housing Section, to purchase land, obtain planning permission, and provide necessary services in order to develop housing for Irish speakers in Gaeltacht areas.
