Major award at Ploughing Championship for Sligo Company

A local Sligo Company has won a major innovation award at the National Ploughing championships innovation section.

SUIP manufacturing have won the award after designing and manufacturing a new quad lock which is used to prevent the theft of quad bikes on farms.

The new devise bolts the bikes to the floor of farmers sheds.

Pius McCloat, the MD of SUIP Manufacturing is confident that his product can reduce the number of quad bikes being stolen from farms.
