The 2019 Radisson Blu Sligo West of Ireland Amateur Open golf championship will have a new date and format at Co Sligo Golf club next month.
The 2019 edition of 'the West' is moving from its traditional Easter weekend date to April 4-7th, 2019, and the event format is changing from matchplay to strokeplay - in keeping with the format of the Flogas Irish Amateur Open which will also be staged at Rosses Point in May.
Radisson Blu West of Ireland Tournament Director Enda Lonergon explains the changes.
