New survey shows learner drivers don't practice enough before test

A new survey by Aviva shows a quarter of applicants say they failed their driving test because they hadn't practiced enough.

 

The survey also shows 23 per cent blamed nerves for not passing their test.

In figures published by the RSA, in 2021, Sligo had a pass rate of 59 per cent, 60.8 per cent of applicants passed in Donegal, while in Carrick-On-Shannon, 63.1 percent passed.

 

Ballincollig in Cork was the centre with the highest pass rate in 2021 at 75.5 per cent, while Nenagh in Co. Tipperary had the lowest pass rate at 42.1 per cent.
