North West childcare services awarded funding under Building Blocks Improvement Scheme

A number of childcare services in the North West are to be awarded funding under Building Blocks Improvement Scheme.

The grants are being provided to help services to increase their energy efficiency.

Four Donegal childcare services have been awarded grants under the scheme.

The projects in Donegal are to share over €260k in funding.

BASIC Child Care Centre CLG, Claire's Little Stars Preschool Ltd, Crossroads & Killygordon Community Playgroup Ltd and Little Smarties are the Donegal recipients.

In Sligo, Tubbercurry FRC is to get almost 74,000 while three services in Leitrim are also to receive similar amounts in funding and include, Bright Buttons ECEC ltd, Tots Haven Childcare Facility and Tullaghan Community Playgroup Ltd.
