Concerns have been raised in the Riverstown area of Sligo in relation to the proposed construction of a new mobile phone mast at Carnagark.
A planning application has been lodged by the Cignal Infrastructure to construct a 39 metre high multi use lattice tower.
The application has caused has led to concern among members of the local community whom have expressed their surprise and dissatisfaction that there was no consultation prior to the application being lodged.
Ballymote/ Tubbercury Fianna Fail Councillor Martin Bakers says the local community should have been consulted in relation to the process however he says they still have time to make submissions to the Council.
