Schools & Colleges closed in order to prevent spread of Covid-19

Schools, colleges and childcare facilities across the north west are closed from today, as government measures to stop the spread of coronavirus take effect.

70 people are now confirmed to have the illness, after 27 new cases were announced last night.

One person has died.

The Education Minister and Donegal TD, Joe McHugh says many secondary level students will still get their lessons at home through the internet.
