Additional funding of almost €50,000 will be made available for new social enterprises in counties Sligo and Leitrim.
The Community Services Programme supports community organisations to provide local social, economic and environmental services.
In Leitrim seven organisations have benefited including the The North Leitrim Glens Development Company who received €3,850 and The Organic Centre Company which has been sanctioned - €3,300.00.
In Sligo, a further seven companies have been awarded funds including the Michael Coleman Heritage Centre which was awared €7,700 and the County Sligo Heritage And Genealogy Society which gained €4,950.
