Local members and supporters of the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign will hold a bridge vigil in Sligo on New Year's Eve.
Organisers say It’s one of a number of protests and events being organised throughout the country.
The protest has been arranged in the wake of escalated conflict in Gaza.
Friday’s vigil in Sligo town will take place at the Hyde Bridge at 2pm.
